During the output of his book “Bass Hits”, Jean Warlant invites us to a mini concert which he organizes with its accomplice Fabrice Alleman, in the FNAC of Liege.
A Jazz Duet , Double bass and Clarinet, which meets large standards of the Jazz.
A journey in the époque from the 1920 years to our days.
The whole filled of anecdotes all putted together throughout a well filled career.

Casino de Namur – Dimanche 8 Novembre 2009
Cette première édition de nos répétitions publiques au Casino de Namur à tenu toutes ses promesses. Pour la première fois, les amateurs de Jazz ont pu assister à une représentation unique, en découvrant comment un orchestre de Jazz travaille les morceaux qu’il à choisis, avant de les présenter en concert…
Tous ont été étonnés du professionnalisme des musiciens du New Sadi Big Band. En effet, dès la première lecture d’une partition le morceau sonne déjà vraiment bien. Ensuite, le travail du chef d’orchestre est fabuleux. On rajoute quelques accents, de ci et de là, pour se retrouver emporté dans la magie des compositions et des arrangements de Sadi.

If she had the chance to grow up in the music and the Jazz, Jakye Renard didn’t begin her career before the age of 24 years. Her parents, musicians, wanted to protect her from the show bizz world by misadvising her to this career … ,
It was a lost effort, because she shall make an internationally recognized career.
Very quickly, Jakye will be noticed by Henry Seghers, Leader of the Big Band of the RTBF. She will be committed in the orchestra as a singer and will belong to all the great events.
She took part in many RTBF TV broadcasts such as: « Air de… » de Nicolas Résimont, « La caméra d’argent », « Chansons à la carte » (24 services over two years), etc,…

Currently, the New Sadi Big band prepares actively the new season, which is announced rich in events and exploits.
We will not fail to communicate you the dates of the next concerts.
The recording of a studio album belongs to the short-term plans.

The third exploit of the New Sadi Bigband was certainly that one witch will remain for a long time in the memories, at the time of the “Dining Jazz Night” on July 18, 2009.
More than 700 people have vibrated on the notes played by our orchestra.
The gratin of the international Jazz was present and the praises were numerous.
To start with those of the godfather of the festival, Mister “Toots Thielemans himself”. Praises in the form of encouragements to be continued in the way traced by Sadi.

La deuxième prestation du New sadi Bigband à eu lieu à Frameries, le 26 juin 2009, dans le cadre du Frameries Jazz Festival.
Une prestation très remarquée, avec une affiche partagée par des grands noms du Jazz.

The first exploit of the New Sadi Big band took place in Andenne, on June 19, 2009, within the framework of “Artiz' Andenne enMusique”.
For the music festival, the commune of Andenne and its Burgomaster, Mr Eerdekens, wanted to honour Sadi, which was originating from this small town of the edges of the Meuse… Many personalities came to witness this homage.
